Seeking a reliable and patient caregiver to assist my father, who recently suffered a stroke (2 weeks ago). He is currently recovering at home and requires help with daily activities and gentle support as he regains mobility and independence. Schedule is flexible - ideally 4-6 hours per day, (overnight, weekends if open). Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting as needed Support with mobility, transfers, and light exercise or therapy routines Prepare simple, healthy meals and encourage regular hydration Administer or remind of medications as prescribed Provide companionship and conversation throughout the day Prior experience with stroke recovery, elder care, or home health assistance preferred Kind, dependable, and patient demeanor Reliable transportation to/from Jersey City CPR/First Aid certification a plus
