About who needs care: Looking for someone to help care for my 85-year-old grandmother for a few hours 2-3 days a week. She needs 24 supervision and has aids that come daily but there is a gap in their shifts we need to cover. She does'nt walk well anymore so she'll either be laying in bed or sitting in her recliner. She sometimes has issues with memory due to her age but is still mentally sound. Duties may include feeding her, giving her medication, changing her diaper, helping her out of bed if she wants to change rooms (she has a wheelchair for transporting), conversating with her and overall making sure she is comfortable, safe , and happy. About the care needs: Looking for a honest and compassionate person to help care for and keep my elderly grandmother company. A person willing to engage her in conversation if she just wants to talk with someone, play a game with her, or paint her nails to ensure she stays happy. A person who make her lunch or give her a snack if shes hungry, and make sure she has a clean diaper if shes wearing one ( She is getting an pure wick external cathetor thats will be handled by the other aids)
