I need a hands-on care provider experience for my mother in her 70s. Pay would be through a state funded program (PASP). She has MS and is wheelchair bound. Help needed with bathing and toileting, light housekeeping, accompanying to doctor's appointments, and transferring from wheelchair to bed, commode, and scooter. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion, who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. Prefer CNA but not necessary. Schedule will be Monday-Friday, 9am-6 pm, with a 1-hour unpaid break for the first 30 days. Schedule may adjust after 30 days and assessment of my mother's abilities. She has been in hospital/rehab since April recovering from lung surgery, heart complications, and other misc. health issues. I am looking to secure a care provider asap to receive her when she is released from rehab on October 13th.
