I'm looking for female companion care for my adult sibling with Down Syndrome in her 50s to check in on her a couple of times a week at her group home. Duties include providing companionship, checking she is wearing clean clothes and that she has brushed her teeth and hair. You may need to take her on errands if she wants to, like the Dollar Store or local pharmacy (CVS, Walgreens) as appropriate. Preferences for a caregiver who has worked with people with intellectual disabilities, is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. The ideal person is patient and enthusiastic to encourage interaction. My sister likes sports, drawing, and music.
