About the job
I am a private live in caregiver, currently caring for an elderly man with Alzheimer's. He lives in the family home with his wife and I am looking for experienced caregivers to relieve me approx. 3-4 days a month and once or twice during the year for a longer periods (7-10 days). They are a very nice elderly couple. The woman is fairly self sufficient and requires very little but may occasionally need help with something. The man is very pleasant and uses a walker (supervised) and needs help with basic daily living (shower, toilet, walking). Some light tidying up is involved. We're looking for some help preparing meals (for both). Looking for a caring and compassionate caregiver. Preferences for a caregiver who is CPR / first-aid trained and has experience with people who has dementia.
