Caregiver Needed

About the job

We're looking for a reliable, compassionate, and strong caregiver to assist my mother-in-law, who has ALS and is wheelchair-bound. Schedule: • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday • 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (5 hours/day, 20 hours/week) Must be comfortable with dogs. Responsibilities include: • Assisting with all aspects of daily living • Showering (2x per week) • Feeding • Toileting • Laundry (once a week) • Light housekeeping in her area (wiping surfaces, changing sheets, vacuuming) Requirements: • Dependable and punctual are a must. • Physically capable of transfers and assisting with mobility. • Experience with ALS or similar care preferred but not required • fluent in English a must, bonus if you speak Italian Bonus points if you can stay overnight or come on the weekends OCCASIONALLY
