About who needs care: My father suffered a stroke and currently has full left side paralysis. We need help with transferring from bed/chair/toilet etc. and some ADL's. Currently this is just a physical need, no medical is needed. my mother is 4' 11" 120lbs and my dad is 6' & 260lbs, so you can see the size difference. His living arrangements are on one level. About the care needs: Someone who is patient, compassionate & kind. We need a strong person to help with lift and transferring. Stroke recovery experience would be a plus. Perhaps a man that can become a friend and companion with my dad. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
