About who needs care: Mom is wheelchair bound. She is able to stand with assistance. She is a recovering stroke victim. Speech is great. She needs all physical and occupational assistance. She has a good heart and loves company. House is designed for handicap and she has a hospital bed. All devices needed for assistance with her including a lift. She can feed herself but not prepare her meals. Purewick system is used at night for incontinence. I would be happy to answer any questions that you have. About the care needs: Mom is a happy person. She like company and conversation. She wants to do things, but sometimes doesn't ask. Motivation is the key. Someone who is outgoing and personable would be a great fit. An Encourager. She loves the outdoors--was an excellent gardener. She likes little projects. To be included. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
