About who needs care: She lives with her husband who cares for her and he needs breaks. She doesn't need much care, but just help around the house and companionship. She sleeps late. Sometimes needs help getting up but can do much by herself unless her knee or back hurt. They could use some housecleaning help, dishes, trash, laundry and if you want to shop and cook a traditional american meal, they would enjoy. Her health issues are that she is on warfarin blood thinner because of a heart valve replacement back in the 1990's, she has a weak knee that sometimes hurts, she is incontinent and wears briefs, but also toilets. She manages her own medications and gets around the house using a walker. She spends most of her time sitting at the kitchen table or in the easy chair of her bedroom reading or watching TV. She loves sports, news and Jesus. About the care needs: We are looking for someone who will honor her (I can do it) independent spirit, while they help around. She would love a Christian who can talk about spiritual things with her. Someone who can cook, clean and laundry. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
