About the job

About who needs care: Early stage of dementia with short term memory loss and some difficulty with comprehension. Mom sleeps until 10-11 and then spends most of her on the couch. She always worked a lot so she doesn't really have any hobbies . We are looking for someone to be a companion and give her things to do during the afternoon. About the care needs: She enjoys peoples who take the time to engage and talk with her. She loves children and animals. She will need someone who is familiar with mild cognitive impairment, and dementia, someone who is patient and kind. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
