About who needs care: My underlying conditions are neuropathy in my lower legs and feet. I just finished having a month of chemotherapy for a mantle cell lymphoma and multiple myeloma. I have issues with fatigue and possible loss of appetite. At this point dealing with my health at 83 I have lost interest with my hobbies and interests like painting, reading, doing French lessons at home and interested in the theatre. An ideal day for me would be getting up with zero pain, I could get up make breakfast and then maybe go for a drive into town and do some window shopping. Getting out of the house to see my friends and do lunch would be wonderful. About the care needs: Someone with and outgoing personality and a sense of humor is always a plus. Specialized skills would be some kind of a medical background or someone who worked in the medical field. Someone who speaks Spanish and maybe French since I am taking lessons, an interest in the arts and painting. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
