I'm looking for hands-on care for my mother in her 80s with moderate dementia. Please be willing to do light housekeeping such as folding clothes, emptying dishwasher and making of her bed and keeping house tidy throughout the day. We are asking this because it has always been important to my mom to have a clean, organized house and she tends to fixate on these things with her dementia. One of your responsibilities may be helping with bathing. We usually help with her bathing. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation for my mom's breakfast, lunch and snacks. We're looking for someone to provide companionship. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained. We would like someone to be able to take our dog out several times during the day.
