About who needs care: She has a heart condition she takes medication for. She also has dementia that is advancing. Right now she lives alone, but that will be changing within the next 6-9 months, she will be moving in with myself and my husband. We would still like to continue the assistance for her even after we move. She loves to crochet, make crafts of all kinds, she loves baking cookies and loves to decorate sugar cookies. She loves knitting. But does have some trouble seeing things. She loves to play games on her Kindle and love to ready about Civil War History and things in the genre. She has to keep everything very routine, getting up in the morning, getting her coffee, taking her medicine, watching TV. Then the rest of the day she kind of sets around the house and will play games on her kindle. Please let me know if there are other questions about her that I can help answer. About the care needs: She seems now to enjoy people that are very friendly and companionate. Someone that stays calm even in the times she gets upset or her routine is changed. Right now, really no special skills, just able to dial 911 if something happens. For hobbies and interest, if they would like to do the same hobbies, crafts, & readying she likes to do. It is very important to us that we keep her mind engaged as much as possible Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
