About who needs care: My mom needs help organizing things and also with housework. Shes just returned from having surgery on her neck and is recovering nicely, but also frustrated because her memory is slipping. She lives alone and has three children: one daughter who lives here and checks on her and is a nurse. Im. The middle daughter and I live in Charleston, South Carolina, but visit frequently. Our brother lives here, but is of little help most of the time.. About the care needs: We always had a very humorous household, so someone with a sense of humor would be great. She wants to do things on her own, but is open to having support and consistency would be really important to all of us because her memory depends on that. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
