Help needed for my parents in their 80s - seeking full-time hands-on care. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. Important - experience with managing and administering medication is required. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. We're looking for some help preparing meals. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. We might ask you to run errands now and then. You'll be responsible for transporting to/from appointments. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained. My parents have an apartment in our basement. Dad has Alzheimer's and suffers from delusions. Mom has normal memory issues for her age. They both need help getting out, whether it is walking, trips to the park, trips to the mall, or transportation to medical appointments.
