Hello! I'm looking for a caregiver for my mom. My mom is in her mid-60s with a rare form of dementia. It mainly impacts her short term memory and vision. My stepdad and I are looking for someone to come to the house for 3-4 hours a couple or few days a week. It's flexible. My mom and stepdad live together with their dog. I'm close by. Mom's perfect day is chatting, lunch and activities (movies, crafts). Someone who is kind and patient. Experience working with someone with dementia is preferred. There is a driveway to park in. Light bathroom assistance (finding the bathroom, prompts to flush and wash hands). Supervision and light support when going up and down stairs. *We used Care. com before and we really enjoyed who we hired but they are no longer available. So, here we go again!
