About who needs care: Currently healing from a ankle wound and receiving wound care. Dressing changes 3x/week by wound care nurse. Mostly in a wheel chair. Can get up to a walker. She is diabetic. And also receiving PT/OT so there are some in-home appointments to work around. She needs assistance transportation to doctors appointments in Lees Summit, and some light housekeeping. About the care needs: She needs some one that is kind and up beat. That is gentle and caring. She deals with a good amount of pain so they need to be considerate of that. Her wound is post 2 Achilles surgeries. So she is primarily non-weight bearing but can get up to the seated walker. Services needed include: transportation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping.
