About the job
My dad had a stroke and is paralyzed on the left side and wheelchair-bound. We are looking for someone who can help out long-term with his care in our home in Ballwin when he comes home from rehab in December. He doesn't have specialized medical needs, but just needs help with daily living tasks, like getting around, toileting, bathing/dressing, etc. Need to be able to safely transfer 150 lb patient between wheelchair/bed/car/toilet/shower. Looking for help 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. If it works out, this could be a full-time job for many years.
