About who needs care: My dad is a retired chemistry professor. Work is essentially is main hobby. Even though he is retired, he is still connected with colleagues to finish scientific papers and write letters of recommendation for past students. He enjoys walking the dog and taking pictures. He might enjoy outings to different cultural institutions. About the care needs: Patience is really important. He needs reminders to stay on task (if doing specific chores from my mom). I would like to see him get involved in activities that dont involve screen time. Tech support for using Apple products would be helpful. Open lines of communication with me and my mom. My dad often feels like he has been left out of a planning discussion, but its more often that he doesnt remember what has been discussed.
