About the job

About who needs care: Mom has mild dementia and arthritis pain. She is very sedentary and likes TV and word puzzles. We are looking for part time assistance with light help around her apartment (help her), to be more active, for companionship, and helping her with organization to compensate for memory lapses. Occasional transportation for errands/ shopping would be nice too. About the care needs: Someone who is patient and kind but also able to be firm with pushing mom to be more active. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
