About who needs care: Living independently but indications of dementia are increasing. He is extremely active and in good physical shape but no longer has a license. He is getting bored and frustrated. He loves art, walking, history, nature, cars, reading, old movies. We would like to see him have more regular outings. Maybe a senior activity center. Possible art lessons. About the care needs: He is a quirky guy. Someone easy going and flexible. Someone who can be assertive when he pushes back about things. Someone who likes walking would be great. Walks on Hines drive would be perfect. He loves painting and drawing. He may need hygiene reminders at times. I am very nearby and see him almost daily but work all day. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
