About who needs care: The patient is a female that has left-sided weakness. She transfers with a gate belt to a bedside commode or to her wheelchair and into the bathroom. She needs assistance with showering at times, food preparation and errands every now and then. She also needs assistance with laundry and household chores. She would also need her vital signs, checked daily and medication reminders. About the care needs: A caregiver with several years of experience. Preferably a CNA that knows how to use a gate belt and one that is strong and pays attention to detail. The client is about 242 lb, but she can bear weight and pivot to her chair. I would like the caregiver to be coachable, compassionate, patient, kind and dependable. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
