About who needs care: Bedbound, post polio, lupus,. She likes to watch shows and movies on her iPad. She has a great sense of humor. She loves to talk and laugh and connect with people. She is on her phone a lot. She was previously in a wheelchair until a short hospital stay and then rehab from a severe UTI a few months ago.. About the care needs: A good fit would be somebody who is kind, easy-going, attentive, a good listener,, and can cook. She does need to be adjusted in bed, so the right caregiver would need to be able to move her using a draw pad. She grew up in this area and knows a lot about the history of the town. She loves to talk about that. She likes cars and racing and listening to music. She has a couple caregivers working different shifts so the right fit would be someone who works well with others and does their share of keeping the different areas of the house clean and organized. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
