About who needs care: She is a new amputation that is dependent with transfers. She does have a hoyer lift that helps with transferring her to/from the bed to the chair. She is incontinent with stool and requires to be changed in the bed due to her transfer status. She has dialysis MWF and would require someone to drive to the facility to place her in the wheelchair van. On her off days I would like someone to help with her toileting needs and keep her company to encourage her eating/drinking. About the care needs: The ideal caregiver would have a background in some sort of healthcare. They would have to be comfortable around dogs (my mother has an english bulldog). The best personality is someone who can engage in conversation easily and be stern without being rude (need this to encourage her to eat and exercise). Services needed include: transportation, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
