About who needs care: My mother, is a 78-year-old, bedbound Muslim woman living in Canton, MI. She has multiple chronic conditions including COPD (on continuous oxygen), Type 2 diabetes, heart failure, and limited mobility. She is mentally alert most of the time but has periods of confusion and occasional hallucinations related to recent medical changes. She requires gentle, patient, and consistent care. Her daily needs include repositioning in bed, help with toileting or commode use, bathing and grooming, medication reminders, and assistance with feeding. Because she is on oxygen, experience with tubing and safety precautions is helpful. Culturally, our family values respect, modesty, and religious sensitivity. A caregiver who speaks Urdu, Hindi, or Pashto would be ideal but not required. Our goal is to find someone who not only helps with physical care but also offers companionship, reassurance, and calm conversation to reduce her anxiety. We treat caregivers as partners in our familys effort to keep her comfortable and respected. About the care needs: We are seeking a caregiver ideally fluent in Urdu or Hindi (English also OK) for a bedbound senior woman in Canton/MI who has hallucinations/paranoia and needs assistance with toileting, repositioning, feeding, personal hygiene, and emotional reassurance. The ideal candidate, is gentle, patient, and has 2+ years of senior care . experience. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
