About who needs care: At 99 1/2 Mom is actually in very good shape cognitively and physically. She does need supervision as she is unsteady at times on her feet. My sister has been a fulltime care giver and is reaching burnout so I am looking to lift my sisters load approx 1 day a week 4-8 hrs. Not an overnight situation. Mom loves to talk, loves books on tape and FOX news About the care needs: Some one who loves to listen, Moms eyes are not great so most of what she focuses on is what she says and what she hears. She loves to talk about her books on tape. Mom is displaying some mild dementia and will forget and repeat things. Kindness would be someones best asset. Services needed include: transportation, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
