Hands-on Care Needed For My Wife In South Portland

About the job

We need hands-on care to take care of my wife in South Portland. She has ALZheimers, Lewy body and Parkinson so prefer person with comparable experience with people with this disease. She is able to stand and walk with assistance short distances. Medication giving is required. I manage and prepare daily Meds. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. Help needed with bathing. Daily cleaning; changing diapers and clothing as needed. Daily Help brushing teeth and general Hygiene care. She is able to feed herself but requires some assistance and prompting. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation along with myself assisting feeding breakfast and Dinner. Caregiver must be a non-smoker and able to do light lifting and bending as needed to provide care as needed.
