About who needs care: Her name is Sandy. She enjoys sewing, taking pictures and watching TV. She has dementia with neurology referral. Needs structure to morning routine to get up and dressed for the day, take medications and have a balanced breakfast. Then some light house keeping with vacuuming, dishes, laundry and possible dinner preparation. My father also resides in the home and is reliant on my mother's care with homemaking. About the care needs: Someone up beat, positive, caring and supportive. Able to meet my mother whwre she is at and guide her. Someone with memory care experience would be good, she is also very hard of hearing and uses Hearing aides. If they like fabrics and sewing that's a plus. I would love to see her drinking more water and going for some short walks in nice neighborhood. She used to be quite a cook and could possibly cook with help. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
