About who needs care: Cognitive impairment (dementia); fully functioning but forgetful. He needs assistance with serving his meals and making sure he doesn't leave fridge open, etc. He has no hobbies; just watches TV and putters around during the day. We also have a small chihauhau; he sometimes he needs assistance taking the dog out. About the care needs: Andy (my husband) is an easy going man. He's quiet and easy going. Someone who is content taking the dog for a walk and watching TV is good. Caregivers can be on their computer or phone; my husband does not need constant attention. Just someone to make sure that he gets dressed and fed, and that he's safe. Services needed include: companionship.
