Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Freeport

About who needs care: My mother is 83 and recently became homebound after a hospital visit. She has no underlying conditions (she does take daily meds which she is able to handle on her own but important this is monitored and she's checked it off on her ca). I'm her daughter (who lives in CA) looking to set her up with daily care in the am to make sure meds and PT completed and meals/snacks ready for the day (to be delivered by Meals on Wheels/she uses microwave). Occasional laundry and assistance with shower. About the care needs: Ideal caregiver is kind, warm and compassionate who can make my mother feel safe. My mother values her independence but recognizes she has some cognitive and physical decline and needs at-home care. She's a homebody and enjoys quiet, loves animals (has one cat).
