Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Edgewater

About the job

I'm looking for care for my father in his 80s. He is recovering from bladder surgery and has just received a cancer diagnosis. In the short term we need someone to be checking in on him as my sister and I live out of town. He may need some hands on care such as emptying a catheter right now and we don't know what the cancer treatment support may be yet. Immediately, he needs someone to prepare him healthy meals 4 times a week : fish, steak, salad. He is pre-diabetic so no pasta or sugar. He may need help with grocery shopping. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker. My dad is a very gregarious guy who has been very active and healthy his whole life. He has a great sense of humor and is a great conversationalist.
