I'm looking for a caregiver for my mother-in-law in Baltimore. She's relatively young for someone with Alzheimer's and aphasia and my father-in-law only recently retired and needs some breaks from full time caregiving. We are looking for someone to come in and become a friend and companion for her that may evolve into more care taking as the Alzheimer's progresses. She's probably moderate level for the progression of the disease and we are hoping to find someone who is personable and can help her feel at ease and navigate the day and activities. She likes walks, flower arranging, cooking. While this is by no means a requirement, she is a native German speaker and also grew up in South African so anyone with that background or British background could make her feel more at ease.
