I'm still in the process of figuring out what I need. I'm currently at an assisted living while we figure it out as my wife has been my primary caregiver for the last year and a half. I am thinking a few hours in the morning in a few hours in the evening. I am 50 years . About a year and a half ago I ended up with a spinal cord injury that left me paralyzed. I've been able to gain a lot of mobility back, but unfortunately, I'm still unable to walk and have problems with bowel/bladder. There are a few things that I could use help with no particular order. They include.: - getting dressed in the morning and ready for bed in the evening. This involves rolling me a few times to get clothes on. - Transfer from my bed to the wheelchair using our electric Hoyer - help with bathroom issues (changing). I currently straight cath - Possibly driving me in my wheelchair van to PT once a week - light stretching of my arms, legs and hands Again, this is new to us, so I am completely unsure of what exactly we need and what times.
