About who needs care: Would be client is cheerful, funny 83-year-old who has severe COPD. She also has an affectionate, mature very small dog. Client is largely stationary on couch and watches television. About the care needs: Talkative, engaged caregiver with a sense of humor is ideal. Experience with older clients very important. The caregiver would work with other caregivers supporting mom already on the schedule. Failiarity with pulmonary/cardiac conditions helpful but not essential. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
