**SCHEDULE: Start date flexible. Hours may be flexible. Looking for roughly 9am-2 p.m. weekdays/Saturday and/or weekday evenings roughly 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Likely to hire more than one person. About who needs care: My dad had a stroke in 2012. He has right side paresis, severe aphasia, and severe vision impairment as a result of the stroke. Needs support transferring, getting ready in the morning, getting him food and drink throughout the day, etc. About the care needs: Experience/knowledge of aphasia and/or willingness to learn how to best communicate with someone with aphasia is a must. Experience with working with an individual with paresis on one side of the body is preferred. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands/shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing/dressing, and mobility assistance.
