About who needs care: My husband is a very active 74-year-old who is recovering from leg surgery and is homebound for the next three months. He is working full-time and telecommutes, and is fairly independent. He can only get around on a walker. Looking for assistance when I need to be out of the home. Tasks involve getting him food and drinks, and just being present in the home. About the care needs: Most of the time, the caregiver would be just "babysitting" and being available. They could bring their own device to occupy themselves when not attending to my husband. Looking for a compassionate, responsible person. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
