About who needs care: My mother has Alzheimer's. She recently fell and broke her hip. While recovering from surgery, she fell and broke her wrist. When she returns home from the rehabilitation center, she will need near full-time care to keep her safe. She will require assistance preparing meals, doing laundry, loading the dishwasher, and keeping the house clean. My brother lives with my mother but he is disabled and not very helpful. He does provide companionship. About the care needs: The ideal caregiver is patient, kind, attentive, helpful, on the quieter side, a self-starter. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
