About the job

This senior lady has advanced dementia. She ambulates with a walker, she is active and articulate and has a good array of interests including her beloved dog, her grandchildren, flower arranging and good food. She dresses and bathes with cues and occasional min assist. Her husband lives with her. She needs a caregiver to keep her safe since her safety insight is poor. No heavy lifting but must have comfort level with the denial that often accompanies dementia (validation, reassurance and redirection). You would have your own apartment attached to house and you would be given ample time to sleep/rest.
