My wife has advanced Parkinson's and dementia. She cannot stay alone safely in our home. She has balance problems and freezing episodes, and she walks with a rollator walker, but she is still at risk for falling and she always needs someone with her. Her dementia includes disorganized speech and behavior, and paranoia. As her husband, I am her full-time caregiver, and in need of respite. We need companion care to take care of her at our home in downtown Plymouth, to start on Wednesdays. Duties include medication reminders, lunch preparation, providing companionship and social interaction.
