Seeking companion care near Newton Highlands for my loved one in their 70s. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. We're looking for some help preparing meals. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. We'll need you to handle groceries or errands when appropriate. You'll be responsible for transporting to/from appointments. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker. I am a friend who is in a weekly drumming group with him in Cambridge. He is legally blind, but up until recently has gotten around Newton, Boston, Dorchester, and Cambridge with relative ease and confidence. His vision is almost completely gone now. He is alert, intelligent, humorous, perceptive. Is an active member member of a church in Cambridge where he leads the membership committee. He composes music, plays the piano and the drum.
