About who needs care: Mother-90 years old, loves to tell stories, watch the news, reads Wall Street Journal, enjoys conversation and companion/CNA that has compassion to the aging. She has a lot of pride and needs someone that give her the help that she needs without taking away her independence. About the care needs: CNA/HHA experience with shower assists, medication reminders, escorts to dining room for meals, laundry, light housekeeping, companionship, some cooking. experience with short term memory loss/early onset dementia Services needed include: some help dressing, showering, medication reminders, keeping her skin good(cream and moisturizer) laundry, Companionship is very important. This job is for someone that really wants to work with the elderly that will not get bored or be on their phones when they are working with her.
