Patient has full cognitive ability and communicates through eye gaze technology speaking from his computer. He has no use of his limbs but full use of his mind. Urgent need for someone who is available due to spouse getting appendix surgery who cannot lift or do chores or caregiving roles like the primary caregiver used to. About the care needs: Someone who is great at taking feedback and also has a great attitude and a willingness to learn would be ideal, the patient can be quite particular and wants to be treated with dignity and respect but has a gracious and fun loving attitude. The most difficult things are the morning routine bathroom routines and bedtime routines, so someone who is patient enough to learn the quirks of what is needed from other caregivers will be important.
