About who needs care: My wife has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease and, in addition, has orthopedic problems. She walks with a cane, but likes to walk. We would like someone who could do household tasks (laundry, folding cleaned clothes, ironing, help take care of our 10-mo. old mid-size very sweet and gentle goldendoodle, and, importantly, cook dinner and shop for food items. About the care needs: My wife is a highly educated and intelligent retired lawyer. She reads a lot (fiction, history, biography, etc.) and loves to discuss progressive politics. We are both Democrats, and it is important that we have someone like minded. She loves the outdoors, flower arrangements, birds in the backyard, and singing songs from her past. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
