About who needs care: He is a 55 yr old quadriplegic. He was paralyzed at age 18 and has been cared for by our mother until her passing in 2016 then by a live in caregiver that passed in 08/2025. He is pretty self sufficient throughout the day. He requires assistance getting out of bed and dressed, toileting, showering and going to bed. We have decided to sell the family home and have secured him a low maintenance garden home that has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The ideal candidate would have room and board included. He has family in town available to assist on short notice or during care giver breaks. About the care needs: Ideally the candidate would be fit in order to do proper transfers. He is super good at talking a helper thru the steps/routine to make it seamless. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
