Home Care Support Specialist (Part-Time / Flexible Schedule)

Seeking a patient, dependable individual to provide part-time support and companionship for an adult male who is wheelchair-bound but largely independent. The ideal candidate will assist with mobility, transportation to therapy appointments, and general household support. This role includes scheduled overnight care on select weekends when I am away. • Assist with safe movement between wheelchair and seating when needed. • Support short-distance walking with a cane (supervision and stability). • Maintain a safe home environment and assist with items out of reach. • Assist with vehicle entry and exit • Light housekeeping related to patient’s daily needs • Ensure a clean, organized, safe environment. • Drive patient to scheduled therapy appointments (typically mornings, 3x/week). • Provide conversation, company, and general oversight while still encouraging his independence.
