About who needs care: Cardiac patient with CHF. Chronic UTIs and uses diaper & urinal. Calls for the urinal are frequent. General weakness and needs assistance to get in & out of bed. Needs assistance with grooming & dressing. Needs assistance to get in & out of wheelchair. Uses the bedside commode with assistance to have a BM & needs assistance with wiping after. Hobbies: watches FOX news. Enjoys watching the Saints, LSU and Tulane football. Plays the lottery when he can. Ideal day: Mom wakes him up about 7:10 a.m. and she prepares his breakfast. Lunch is 12 noon. Dinner is 5:15 p.m. About the care needs: Someone familiar with dementia patients. Someone with a lot of patience because Mom can be unreasonable & rigid with her schedule. Someone not too loud and too talkative. Someone that keeps the immediate are tidy & organized. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
