I need a hands-on care provider experience for myself in my 60s. Medication management is required. Some light tidying up is involved. Some help needed with bathing. We're looking for some help preparing meals. We might ask you to run errands now and then. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained. I paid through private pay, VA direct care ("VDC"), and VA Bowel and Bladder Program. The day shift, which begins at 8 a.m. for 2. 5 hours per day on Monday through Saturday, involves range of motion, bed bath, dressing and transferring from bed to wheelchair with a ceiling lift (no heavy lifting involved). The bowel program last four hours on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and Sunday mornings. An overnight shift, which begins at bedtime and lasts from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Contact for interview.
