Hi, our out-of-state family is seeking a morning caretaker for 90-year-old mother with dementia who resides in a memory care facility in Beaumont Center, Lexington. This job would entail 2 hours a day in the morning getting our mother up, cleaned and dressed, transferred into a wheelchair, and ready for breakfast. We are looking for someone experienced with dementia patients and their physical and mental challenges. Hours would run from about 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. each day. Our goal is to make our mother more comfortable by providing her extra time and attention to get going in the morning. This caretaker would supplement the help provided by the facility staff and a private visitor who spends time with our mother each day. Competitive compensation.
