About who needs care: She is currently in a wheelchair. She had a UTI and it set her back physically and she has been in assisted living for 2 months. She really wants to go home but is not far enough along to stay by herself. She usually wakes up around 8 a.m. and has hot tea and a pastry. Then she goes to her chair and does puzzles or watches tv. Meals on wheels will bring her lunch 5 days a week. She will need help going to the bathroom and showering. She will be in a wheel chair but can get physical therapy at home through Angel Care. About the care needs: She would want a female but she would have to be pretty strong for transfers to toilet and bed and living room chair. She is not recovering from surgery but is very weak and is a dead weight right now. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
