About the job

About who needs care: She is somewhat blind due to eye trauma. She does see, but mostly shadows. She does not cook anymore but would prefer to have someone that could prepare a meal with additional leftovers for days they aren't present. She does have an eliostomy, but for the most part is capable of handling that herself. She needs assistance checking sugar, and someone present at bath time. Not to bathe her, but just to be there in case of a slip. I live relatively close by but cant fit this into my work schedule. Im just trying to see what opportunities are available to help. About the care needs: A compassionate and honest person. Someone who truly cares about the elderly. Someone who is a Christian would be nice as mom is a believer as well. Someone who doesnt mind doing a little shopping for/with her. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
